An AI companion platform stores your account details, your chats and the media generated for you, a record of your payments and some technical data about your device. What sets platforms apart is how little of you they ask for, who can see what they hold, and how easily you can take it back. Swipey is designed to need very little: an email address to sign up, no photo uploads, no public profile and a neutral line on your bank statement. This article explains what is stored, who can read it and how to delete it, using Swipey's published policies as the worked example.

What data does an AI companion platform store?

Four kinds: your account, your content, your payments and your technical footprint. On any platform, the account is at least an email address and a login; content is what you type and what the AI generates back; payments are handled by a payment processor; and technical data covers things like your IP address, browser and device.

On Swipey, the Terms of Service define your "Input" as the prompts, messages, parameters and selections you submit, and the "Output" as the text, images, video and voice the service generates in reply. Card payments are handled by specialist payment providers, and your chats live in your account, so you can pick up where you left off on any device.

Why does Swipey need so little of your personal data?

Because it was built that way. Signing up takes an email address, with no phone number and no ID; in the UK, where the law requires a stronger age check, a specialist provider runs it and Swipey is designed to receive only the result, not your document or selfie. There is no public profile, follower list or social feed tied to you, so other users cannot look you up or see who you talk to.

Just as important is what never enters the service. Swipey does not accept uploads of your own photos or media at all, and its Terms prohibit depicting any real, identifiable person without consent. The companions you design in Create AI are visible only to you and never appear in public feeds or search.

Who can read your chats on Swipey?

No other user: your one-to-one chats and your custom companions are private to your account. Behind the scenes, layered safety checks protect every conversation: prohibited requests are blocked the moment they are sent, replies are checked again before they reach you, and trained compliance staff look only at items those automated checks flag.

Swipey's providers, such as hosting, speech and voice services, process data only so that the service can run, and the Terms say voice data is never used for biometric identification or profiling. Duel rooms are different by design: messages you post in a Duel room's chat are seen by that room, so keep personal details for your private chats.

Does Swipey sell your data?

No. Swipey's Privacy Policy says it will not disclose, sell, trade or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as the policy itself describes, and that it asks for your express opt-in before sharing personal data with any outside company for marketing.

Can you control what your companion remembers?

Yes, with Premium. Memories keep the moments that matter in your relationship, such as your preferences and boundaries, your first call or each relationship level-up, in a Memories panel. You can see every memory, jump to the message it came from and delete any of them on its own.

That puts you in charge of the details that make a companion feel personal: keep the ones you enjoy and remove the ones you would rather she forgot.

How do you delete your Swipey account and data?

In a few taps from Settings, or with one email. According to the help center, Delete Profile removes your login and profile, your chats and the photos and videos in them, and your custom companions with the memories they built.

  1. If you have Premium, cancel it first under Settings, then Subscription, so you are not billed again.
  2. Ask for a copy of anything you want to keep (see the next section).
  3. Open your profile, then Settings, then the Profile tab, choose Delete Profile and confirm.
  4. Prefer email? Write to hello@swipey.ai from your account email and the team will take care of it.

Swipey keeps some records for a period after an account closes; the Privacy Policy sets out the retention periods and how they can change with regulatory requirements. You can also ask the Controller named there, at admin@invai.tech, to erase personal data, and Swipey aims to answer within one month. In the UK and the EU this right to erasure comes from the GDPR, and the UK Information Commissioner's Office explains it in plain terms.

How can you get a copy of your data first?

Ask for it. Swipey's Privacy Policy gives you the right to access your personal data, which means receiving a copy of what Swipey holds about you and checking that it is processed lawfully. Send the request to the Controller at admin@invai.tech from the email address on your account. The same policy lets you have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, so the copy you keep is right.

What should you keep out of any AI chat?

Anything you would not want written down anywhere: passwords, card numbers, your home address and other people's contact details. Swipey's Terms encourage users not to share financial details, addresses, contact details or passwords with AI companions, and that is good advice on every platform. Everything else, from your favourite scenario to the personality you pick for her, is exactly what makes a companion yours.

The full details are in Swipey's Privacy Policy and the help center's privacy and safety articles. When you are ready, meet your AI girlfriend, and see what shows up on your bank statement and how Swipey checks age for the rest of the privacy picture.
